After a night of drag racing then it was across the Mercier Bridge to Montreal where we'd cruise Ste. Catherine's and Maisonneuve and try
to stop on Crescent Street but it was packed with Aston Martins, Lambo's, Ferrari's. I remember getting caught in a traffic jam at 4 am. That city was so alive and there was no Just For Laughs comedy festival then. Miss it.
Mes amis. Je pense que les autres ne comprendra pas; peut-être nous devrions converser dans anglais. D'accord? Ils peuvent penser que nous avons des projets pour une révolte.
Tony, I'm from Montreal and grew up with ton's of cool cars around. The Town of Chateauguay police marked off a quarter mile on new black top in the industril park and we would go there every Friday and Saturday night and drag race while listening to rock and roll. Our mom's were always wondering how they'd go through bleach so fast.

It sounds like it hasn't changed much! Crescent is still the street where all those fancy european cars reside? What's better? People on that street are so used to those fancy cars that even my cutlass will turn some heads

We're actually right in the middle of festival season, the jazz festival just finished up and just for laughs is booming. Especially saint denis, that's where all the babes are, and that's why i NEED TO FINISH THIS CUTLASS!!!!!!!
What a great welcome from you all ! I never tought i would receive so much respond.
Thank you everybody. I think i will enjoy very much be a member of Classic Oldsmobile.
Now in french: Quel beau bonjour de vous tous. Je ne m'attendais pas à autant de courriels. Je vais surement apprécier être membre de Classic Oldsmobile.
Merci à vous tous.

Your f-85 appears to have a pristine body and dash. I almost choked when I saw the snow in one of the shots. You don't store it outside during the winter do you?? That car looks like the day it rolled out of the factory.
, so yes it was outside this winter
. Be sure, the next winter, i will find a good storage... and it won't be outside.By the way, you should see the seats. They where protected by 2 sets of seat covers and the look like new. I think one was installed at the dealer when the car was new.
Incredible!! I'm glad you posted that. I was going to ask about the interior. It's like looking at a time capsule - usually the drivers seat is all beat to heck. Was the seat protector that plastic stuff with a pattern to it?
BTW, that is the exact color combo we had in our 67 Cutlass sedan. Just different fabrics. The steering wheel looks incredible for a 47 year old car! Heck it all looks incredible.
Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it?

, it was a pretty good deal.
The seat cover was not the plastic stuff but a fabric and vinyl one.

Oh that's totally cool! I wonder if the dealer or factory that made my car is still around? *Does research*
