If you're talking about the flexible part, welcome to the club. There's quite a bit of interest in acquiring those among owners of your era of 98. They're not reproduced that I know of, although some on here are looking to have it done for their '76 98's. Not sure if anyone is looking to have them made for the '73's.

Anyway, welcome to the site. I've got a '73 Custom Cruiser, which is identical to your car from the firewall forward and actually from the front seat forward.

The standard and only engine available for the '73 98 and Custom Cruiser was the 455. It was optional on the Delta 88 with the 350 being standard on that line. If your car has its original engine, and I would wonder why anyone would change it to something else, it is a 455.

The 98, 88, and Custom Cruiser are all identical from the firewall forward in terms of styling.

Here's a couple of photos of my wagon.

You should post some photos of your car. We don't care what it looks like, we just like to see old Oldsmobiles!

I agree that part is commonly broken or missing and nearly impossible to replace. I have located this company that has them:

http://www.replica-plastics.com/Edit...ake=Oldsmobile

but, i have not called them or ordered them. I would call and ensure the dimensions are correct. Or even better, perhaps someone else has ordered from here and can comment.

Good luck and enjoy your great car!

Hey there and welcome to the forum! Your 98 looks nice, especially that it's a coupe! I have 2 76 98's and love 'em both! I'm actually the guy that has been getting the ball rolling on the reproduction quarter fillers mentioned above. I have somebody remanufacturing them for 75 & 76 98's but I think there are also a lot of people needing other years so maybe they wold consider making others as well. I've been working on this for a long time but it's so worth it. I have the prototypes for test fitting and so far they're very good. Do like I did and try to round up other owners needing the same fillers so you can present your case and maybe you'll get lucky too. Let me know how it goes.

John
