Newbie w/ an issue

Another newbie here. I've got a '72 cutlass s thats been an on and off resto project for nearly 20 yrs. My aunt started it and then stopped doing anything with it. i've been working on it the last couple of yrs now.

My biggest issue right now is with the turn signals. The left side works fine but the right side flashes fast with the lights off and stays on with the lights on and both rear corner lamps flash dimly with the right side.

I'm looking for the grounds but cant find any. If anyone could help out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

It has been stated here a few times, but what I would suggest is that you sign up for a free account at http://wildaboutcarsonline.com, look for and download all of the Service and Technical manuals available for 1972. Go to Vehicle Info Library > Download Factory Published Materials > Oldsmobile. TONS of material is available, it is sorted by manual type and year and the price is right: Free! If technical manuals are not your thing, I am sure that someone on here can help. A lot of folks knowledge here is encyclopedic.

I downloaded all of the available documents for 1967 and it has been a huge help.

Welcome to CO! Try another flasher 1st, then look for the ground wires (black) that go with the front and rear harnesses. The assembly manual would give you a good idea where they are located. Make sure they are fastened to body/frame tightly and are not corroded at the mounting points.
