New Guy From Illinois
Hello Everybody, It's good to find a web-site devoted to Oldsmobile. My name is Joe i'm Located about 30 miles south of Chicago i'm 54 years old and really like late 50's and early 60's Olds. Ever since I was a kid and Pops took us cruising in his 62' Starfire I Loved it. He used to tell us that the Starfire was a parade car because he could pop the trunk and clowns would jump out.{ SCARY CLOWNS }. I choose 4-Olds because I own 4 Oldsmobile's. Currently working on the 57' 88 4 door Sedan It is equiped with power steering power brakes and an AM radio, instead of carpet it has the plastic floor covering. And most Important NO Clowns! The other cars are 3 64 Starfire's all in various stage's of restorations, one hardtop and two convertibles. I'll try and post some pic's. Again cudos for a great web site
Welcome to CO.

I love Oldsmobiles from the 1950s. I think 1956 is my favorite year for them, but I also like the 1959s--and any other year for that matter. My granny had a '58 Super 88 back in the day. I remember being blinded by the sun reflecting off all that chrome on the dash when going places in the '58...
