New here.. With a 1960 dynamic 88 bubble top 4 door

Hi all...
Been looking for a place for other olds lovers. Soon as I can I will upload some pics of my baby. She is a 60 olds Dynamic 88. Turquoise and white. She has been in the family for a year as my son commissioned me to purchase her last July when he was overseas in Afghanistan. We bought her and he only seen pics of her until his mid tour leave in august. He drove the wheels off her for 2 weeks. I showed her while he was away. He came back in feb and decided last month that he was going to go in a different direction and gave me the car

Once the car season ends this year we are going to be doing some work on her. Some rust issues need to be addressed and a fresh paint job. Her speedometer does not work and we are going to lower her, new wheels and tires. And I'm going to tackle the boat wheel ( steering wheel ) refurb.. Wish me luck and any/ all advice and or suggestions are welcome.
Has anyone put headers on a 371 rocket?

Welcome to CO. Post some pictures the bubble top is one of my favorite Olds.

You have to have custom built headers. Nobody builds headers for the 371

Thank you! I am kinda partial to her. The color on her is definately not a factory color. that is a really bright turquoise. If you google the paint colors of a 1960 dynamic 88 you can see what colors they came in from the factory.
I agree on the fender skirts we got real lucky to get the originals with her.
We have quite a bit of work to do on her to get her where I want her to be which is Show/drive quality * Never a trailer queen*

ooh i see! guess neither of us have factory paint then! i want to see what mine is supposed to look like altho i will probably stick with the petty blue it looks so good on mine it really makes it stand out. i have to get the trans fixed on mine but the engine runs good and the rust is very minimal just some bubbles here and there but hoping to get the trans fixed as soon as i can afford to and then fix the rest up while i drive it my speedo also doesn't work so if you get yours working let me know what it needed maybe theres a chance it will be the same thing mine needs ya never know

My husband and I have chased the problem on the speedometer to where it connects in the transmission. just with it being show season we have been too busy to do too many repairs. But that is first on our list this winter. My husband classic is a 1971 Chevy Shortwide we call it Frankentruck.. It is slated for a paint job this winter to match my olds.. Turquoise and White top.. We have our work cut out for us.
