71 Cutlass Supreme Wide Moulding Clips

Hi All. Name here is Joe and am a long-time owner of a 1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Done alot of work on it over the years, but am stumped on where to get the clips for the wide body molding, Its about 3 inches wide I think and the clip pushes in ( no bolt) and looks like a Lazy "S" with a tail connected to one of the "S" arms that is springy and holds the molding in place.
Anyone have a source for these ?
Thanks in advance

Just did this a few weeks ago. Try UFO fastners look online. I used to get clips for a parts store, supplier was J&T, but could not locate J&T products..I used the bolt on type, this time...but have used the type you are refering to...Seems it is getting harder to find the old time clips try your auto paint store..

Is this the clip you are describing? 2 in clip.jpg

If so, there is a vendor on eBay named altha1 who sells a variety of clips and screws for trim. The clip in this pic sells for $11.99 each and is for 2 inch trim. The eBay item number is 310319685410.

Fusick Auto has some clips for Supreme moldings - at least the plastic clips.

Au-Ve-Co makes nearly all of these clips. Check at your local auto body supply store. They should have an Au-Ve-Co catalog and can order the clips if they are in the catalog. Should be a LOT less than $12/clip.
