Newbie checking in

Hello, I am new to this site. Currently do not own an Olds but have had (3) 67's in the past. All of them were Cutlass and one of them was my first car when I was 16 years old back in 1989. Have always liked the 67's but for some reason I have become really fond of the 66's and hope to own one in the near future. Not looking for a show quality car but a nice solid driver to start with. Would consider anything from F-85 to 442 and even a Wagon. I am also into Fox bodied Mustangs and currently own an 85GT. I stumbled across this site the other day when I was doing a search for pics of 66 Oldsmobiles. Glad I did, lots of great stuff. I am located 20 miles east of Cincy and am an Active Duty Soldier currently on Recruiting Duty. Anyways, hello and I hope to be involved in this site as much as I can be!

It's not a Cutlass or 442, but if you're willing to stretch that to wagons, maybe you would stretch it to a full-size.

Here's a decent '66 Jetstar 88 4-door that needs a little TLC. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but it is low mileage, and it is a '66. It is a bit far from you, though.

Hey Welcome to CO. What are you going to do when you get your car? Re-register with a new user name, maybe to 'GotMy66'?

I had a ship mate from 'Cincy' as he would call it. Before that, I wasn't aware of that nickname.

Fender is mangled. From the looks it's as if it got plowed by another car, perhaps running a light. And it needs a lot of work. I never new a damn thing about Oldsmobiles. When I sat down in this thing the first time, with dust to my ankles, I had this feeling come across me like it could be the start of a beautiful thing. Maybe even be lucky enough to be the guy in the BMW who always gets the best parking spots. Still not sure what I'm going to due though. I am poor and my furnace needs rebuilt so I can make money.

A friend of mine has a 66 442 that he's going to be putting on the market shortly. Show quality paint, all new interior, zero rust. NOM 455. M20 4spd, bucket seats, console, tach & guage dash, power rear antenna, 15x8 SS1's and redlines. power disk brakes & 3.55 Posi. he's got a tricarb intake w/ carbs & linkages that will be included in the sale (unless he listens to me and sells it separately). He's going to have it priced in the $25k range.

If you are interested let me know and i can get more details.
