Depends if it is a custom paint job or a factory 1 stage and how much prep work is involved. Labor is the highest cost and custom paint is not cheap. But for that much you need to see some of his work. Also see if there are car clubs in your area and see who they used and the cost. Good luck to you.

Welcome to CO

Spend so time and get several quotes and ask for customers that you can contact to ask about the service and see the quality of work they do. The most expensive is not always the best value.

Welcome to CO. We have a few resident paint and body experts that could probably guide you in the right direction. Good luck.

Nice car! You're only an hour or so from Vermont, take it down to St Albans or Swanton or Rouses Point NY, you should be able to get a decent stock- type paint job for 1/2 of that... I have a summer place in Colchester, just N of Burlington, and I lived up there for years... or talk to some of the guys from Montreal who go to the Stowe car show every August, or someone in Vermont Auto Enthusiasts VAE who put on the show. PM me if you need more info. Roger
