Reproduction anything '68 or '69 isn't that great when it comes to body parts. I see this is your first post so it may take you awhile to navigate around this site, but take a look in your private messages as I sent you more detail in there.

Has anyone actually touched one of these? The ad says it fits 68 GTO AND Cutlass. I find that hard to believe.

Wow! It is amazing to me the reception I have gotten from this site! Thanks to all who welcomed me. Joe I called the company that sell's the radiator support. It will fit with modification. The top plates are different and need to be changed. If I can't find a good used one I will try it. By the way my Olds is a 68 Cutlass "s" that someone put a 455 in, rear sway bar (like a w-30?) posi 4.10's and boxed control arms. I have so far installed prothane bushings through out, The correct engine mounts (thanks supercars unlimited) Hotchkiss springs with a 1 inch drop and gas shocks. One quick question. What color are the bezel's around the rear tailights supposed to be?

Welcome to the site newoldsman! If your looking for used parts please post your city/state. I may be able to come up with some of what you need, but shipping large parts very far can get spendy. John

The reason I'm skeptical is that the 68 GTO has headlights that are right next to each other, whereas the 68 Cutlass has headlights separated by the parking lights. This makes the core support very different - it's more than just the top plate.

Maybe you should post some pics and get advice on body repair of the parts you have if that's even possible.

Parts Place Inc lists a core support for a 68 and to call for price. Is it correct, I can't say ask them.

I would say stay away from the Pontiac unit. I see no way possible that would work. The 68 Olds would be a one year design.
