Interesting that you went to the trouble and expense of keeping the wide whites. 61 was the last year for them and Olds itself broke that mold in Jan 61 by putting 1" whitewalls on the Starfire, followed by Chevrolet on the Impala SS. By introduction of the 1962 models narrow whites were the industry standard.
