1973 cutlasses

I just recently bought two 1973 cutlasses. One is going to be a project for my 13 year old son and I.Ive worked on cars in the past. But never a partial or total restoration. With that being said have I taken on to my much of a project?I'm a fabricator/welder/machinist/maintenance. To say the least I can turn a wrench lol.I think the one on the right is going to be the restore

Start with the car that has the best body. Meaning the least rust and metalwork. Drivetrains and interiors can be transferred from one to the other, as can desirable options.

Be warned the aftermarket and reproduction market for these cars is small to nonexistent. Mechanical and electrical parts are fairly easy to find. A lot of stuff is shared with same years Chevelle/LeMans/Century.

The Cranberry car has had 442 emblems added. 442 was not available on the notch back coupe bodystyle.

And real 73 442s came with a louvered hood.

Best of luck! If you've searched CO for threads on '73s, you probably already know that finding parts will likely be your biggest challenge.
