Just got this untouched Hurst minimal rust.. saved from the great white north..looking forward to project & screaming why are parts so hard.. but this smog dog will finally be able to breathe.. and will be a weekly driver.. backup to my 75 K Blazer..
Congrats and welcome aboard! That car looks to be in fairly good condition.
My neighbor bought one of those back in the late 80s. Unfortunately, he got it as a parts car for his Salon as there was a divorce and one party trashed the H/O as retribution to the other party (smashed glass and slashed wiring), and it sat in the rain with no t-tops for quite a while before it was sold. I got the 2.56 posi rear end from it and my brother-in-law got the Dual Gate shifter.
The 75 is probably the easiest of the Colonnade Hursts to find parts, as it's based on the higher-line Supreme and was the highest production up to that time. The roof trim and possibly the hood are the worst thing to find.
Tell us what you need, someone will have it or know where to find it.
Welcome- we 73-77 guys gotta stick together.. there's a thread somewhere here..
As stated..75 parts easier than some of the others..74 and 75 very similar bodywise.
