Welcome! and here’s to it meeting every expectation.
Myself excluded this site has THE most knowledgeable Oldsmobile guys on the planet.
Every once in a while you’ll need some thick skin.. So if someone “picks” your dream car, thank them for their observation. It’s likely to be technically correct.
i look forward to the pictures.
Welcome Duke. About 7-8 years ago I sold a 68 Olds 98 convertible that was in an estate that I was executor of. It was dark green with a light green top. It was a very nice car with less that 100,000 miles on it. It had one very nice repaint and my late friend was the second owner of it. I didn't drive it very much but did take it down the North Dallas Tollroad. I took it up to 85 and it was just cruising. I thought it would take a while to sell it since it was a big car but the right guy came along and loved it because his mother had one. The dealer I consigned it to never even advertised it. Those are big cars. I hope you enjoy your car and we would love to see pictures of it.
The truck will arrive tonite to pickup the car. I presume its going to take 3-4 to deliver it to TX. A few pictures from ebay when the car was listed. My 1968 Olds Covt. The interior I am told the mileage is original
Very nice. I love red convertibles. That is lots of red and would be hard to miss. I wonder if it ever carried a homecoming queen. Hope you enjoy your car.
