I'm In ! 69 Cutlass S Convertible Dressed as a 442 +-
Hi Ya'll !
New to Me Today -
It took me nearly 2 years to find this one ! Was Worth the Wait
Definitely a driver - not a show winner car or as they say a "It's a 10 Footer" (for now +-)
So someone transformed this about 20 years ago ...
And today it's got the aging blues - made for a good deal ! Lower body paint has bubbles
Seems the Floor & Trunk Pans are original and never replaced - not even rusted (so my guess this was not an original Northern car (?)
Very Solid Frame throughout
Fenders, Rockers, & Quarters have had metal and bondo work (and now bubbles)
some of the fender / door / hood gaps are a bit off
Hood has 2 low spots +-
VIN - 336679Mxxxxxx
No Sticker on the Oil Fill - Tube Stamp -0244658
Now It has a 70 Olds 455 -
Block Stamp - 30M209943
Block Casting # - 396021F
Heads # - E - 403686
4 Speed Muncie - I was told it was a M20 but not confirmed yet, fresh feeling clutch & shifts nice (3525660 - 3088336 -3857584 - P9R10)
12 Bolt open rear end
Dash & Gauges are like new - nothing ever cut up, gauges are clear (maybe new), Mileage is 102,750 and seems believable
Cloth top with boot & rugs like new
Cloth covered bucket seats are very good
All interiors panels are good too
Mags & Tires look new as well P245-60R-14
Motor runs like day 1 - not even a tick at all rpms, true dual exhaust
PS, PDB up front
Newer steering box has issues - turns more to the left than compared to the right (for now)
And the lights ,wipers, heater, 4 way flashers, electric top .. all work
glass is very good as well
1 sun visor has the stitching opening up
LOL - my comments may be in error +-
