Looks like this is the place to say hello so just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tony and am a recent owner (Oct 2018) of an Oldsmobile. My first one at age 34 although once upon a time my mother had a 76 Cutlass (seems like everyone did )

I own a 4 door 1983 Delta 88 Royale which popped up just a few blocks from my house as I was searching for a Delta anywhere between '71 and '85.

I'm not sure what exactly has drawn me toward Olds and 88s in particular but I've become a huge fan of the marque. In particular I like the 88, 98, and Toronados in RWD form although I like and appreciate a Cutlass or 442 like everyone else.

I believe I'm the 3rd owner of my car. It was purchased new in 1983 in NW Wisconsin, the owner passed away, and her husband sold it to the second owner in North Dakota I believe around 2012. He put it in front of his mothers house in chicago in 2018 order to sell it and I was hooked when I saw it. 116k on the clock when I bought it, another 1,500 miles or so since then.

Needs a few things: hubcaps (would hubcaps from a 77-78 cutlass fit my car? I have a free set at my disposal if so), missing the olds/royale logo on the front grille, and also needs a lighter and radio but both the body and interior are very solid.

I meant the 88s and 98s in RWD form (pre 85 and 84), I know the Tornado was FWD before anyone comes to get me
