Let's first look at your trim tag.

ST 69 33667 LAN 383492 BDY
TR 947 10 A PNT
053

ST 69 = style/model year = 1969

33667: 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile, 36 = model series = Cutlass V8 (used by Lansing on trim tag for '68 and '69 model years to indicate either Cutlass or 4-4-2), 67 = body type = convertible

LAN = assembly plant = Lansing MI

383492 BDY = Fisher body number (has no relationship to the VIN)

TR 947 = interior color and front seat type = parchment in color with a bench seat

10 A PNT = lower body color and convertible top color = ebony black (10) with a white (A) convertible top

053: this is the time build code but I believe you have read it incorrectly. It is probably 05B = May (05), second week of that month (B), 1969.

VIN 344679M383177:

3 = GM division = Oldsmobile

44 = model series = 4-4-2, which verifies this car is truly a 4-4-2

67 = body type = convertible

9 = model year = 1969

M = assembly plant = Lansing MI

383177 = assembly plant sequential number

Randy C.

'68 4-4-2 convertible
'69 4-4-2 convertible
