Hello Members,
Wanted to introduce myself, long time reader, first time poster. I'm the proud owner of a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88.
A bit of background on the olds:
She's my first car and I bought it from an nice old lady who bought it for her husband for an anniversary gift. He promptly died of a heart attack 2 weeks later. She pretty much garaged it for the next 16 years and when I purchased the car it was in mint condition with 36,000 miles on her.
For the last 10 years I've been babying and maintaining her, while at the same time giving her some "tasteful" upgrades around performance, sound, and looks. My most recent project has been to outfit her with a full stainless steel, true dual-exhaust with X-pipe and cherry bomb vortex mufflers (pics to come soon of the fabrication work).
I'll get some pics of the ride up soon and I look forward to being a strong contributing member as I continue to ride low and slow in my D88.
Best,
D88
I'll put some pictures up later

Welcome aboard! Look forward to you providing us with more info on your car[ and pics later]. Grew up in western Canada, and my uncle always had the Olds land yachts...88's and 98's. You'll be able to learn a lot from the folk here, and by using the search option. derek
