Newbie from Europe with Olds 455 engine.
Hello there,
New here from Belgium. A little more than 10 years ago i bought a '79 Trans am with an Oldsmobile 455 engine. +/- 50 miles later i was on the side of the road with a knock.
Got me a Pontiac 400 engine from a fellow pontiac owner. Unfortunately the engine was bad. I found a shop that would rebuild the engine. Did a bad job. Got the engine back with all the metal still in it.
Being young, after all that money and with no result i gave up on the car for "a while"
But it keeps itching. I want to drive my car.
I'll post the video of the knock in another thread. Still love those Olds engines...
