hi everyone....i am new to to posting on the forum but have been following it for a couple years during the process of having our parents 1972 442 restored but posted a question 1st in another thread and realized i should be introducing myself on here 1st....so here i am

having this car restored has been a couple year process but should hopefully be painted within the next 2 months. it's a '72 442 that was our family car growing up as kids and now looking back thinking how cool it actually was to have a muscle car like that as a family car compared to what is available today for everyday transportation! but that is how i got to here and looking for other's that have similar interests in that car era and finding out more of the Olds 442 world! Thanks!!

 

Cool! Is your 442 a W29 or a W30? If you have pics of the cowl tag and the VIN it can be decoded further if you want.
