Another (not so fresh) face
Another (not so fresh) face
Hey all, guess it was inevitable that I join an Olds forum... Been everywhere else, even Dune Buggies...
'72 Vista Cruiser... wanted something that would make a statement...
just found out, my wagon is 11" longer than a Suburban...
Fun stuff...
Gonna need some help and some parts.
Gonna start with a rear bumper... anyone??
thanks

dune buggy
Mine is a Concept 1, looks like a cartoon corvette that hit head on by a mack truck at about 85 mph. The nose and the roll bar are giveaways.
Kinda funny, if you google "concept 1 dune buggy" click on images, , mine is the second and the seventh one that comes up.
Medium blue, aluminum wheels with spinners and old school chrome headlights mounted on either side of where the grille should be...
There is a gathering every year called Manx on the Banx, about a hundred or so dune buggies converge on the outer banks and cruise the beach (on the sand), parade style... I have not been, talked to the promoters last year and the guy that created "The Manx" was to be there to put his autograph on cars... pretty cool
