Newbie from PA - rear shock question

Hello all,

I've been looking here for tech advice for over 3 years - thought I should finally join!

I have a 70 Cutlass Supreme convertible, and last Spring I had new coil springs & shocks installed all-around. Love the new springs, hate the Monroe sensa-matic shocks on the rear (fronts are - fine for now).
Are Bilstein shocks any good? What shocks do you folks recommend for normal cruising - I am long past my speed-demon days....

If it matters - I have front & rear factory sway bars

And I hope it's OK to ask technical questions in the Newbie area...

Welcome to the site. I have Sensa-tracs on my car and they're ok. Never tried the Bilsteins. Others have spoken very highly of them, they are pretty pricey.

Bilsteins = Good.

They're able to do what lesser shocks cannot: Make the ride both smooth and tight.

Of course, as Eric pointed out, Good = $$$
