As the years go by.

It took 47 years but I have just got around to replacing the 1st car my wife and I boubht when we got married. Although it's not the same car it is a duplicate of the 66 442 conv we bought new in Chicago. Going to start a complete restoration this winter. Damn retirement has it's benifits.

But you let your car get rained on!

Nice looking ride! Hopefully you'll be sharing some pics as you do the restoration.

Globeguy , welcome to CO.
Your 1 picture shows an already exceptional 66 442 convert . Nice color combo.
If I could offer a slight insight. I have just proceeded beyond 44,000 dollars into a total body off frame restoration on my 1967 Olds Cutlass 442.
My initial budget was planned at 25,000. New details are always exposed .
As you go through your complete restoration , share your thoughts , and ideas . There are many wise individuals here that can offer valuable insight .

Your 66 vert really looks nice from the picture . Enjoy it , and best of luck .
Cheers , Jimi .

Very nice! I'm guessing that mobile home I the background isn't going to see much use in the next couple years.
