To help solve your problems a farther back picture of the entire engine and some more info on what it is you are working on would help. Also what part of the world are in? It helps to know so someone close might be able to help you directly?
Larry
my guess is you need the H type brackets but need more info.
Direct email is best for me

You have 307 alternator brackets on a big block Olds. You have two issues. First, you are missing the 307 lower bracket. Second, once you get that bracket, you will need to fabricate a 1" spacer between that bracket and where it bolts to the PS pump bracket. The 307 brackets are only designed to fit the small block Olds. Your BBO has a 1" taller deck height, thus the need for the spacer. The 307 bracket also incorporates a jackscrew to aid in tightening the belt.

I consolidated all your posts into one thread. It is neither necessary nor in your best interest to shotgun the same question into multiple threads, and it is especially confusing when you hijack someone else's thread about a 1967 alternator bracket that doesn't apply to your situation. That thread has already had bad answers posted due to the confusion.

Yes, exactly. The triangular bottom bracket bolts to that hole on the PS pump bracket and also to the front bolt on the exhaust manifold (where it replaces that horizontal strut on the earlier cars). The bolt to the PS pump bracket is where you need to insert the 1" spacer to use this for a BBO application.
