Question W.W.'s '55 olds

So I have a challenge. I'm building a clone/tribute car of the 1955 Olds featured in the Burt Reynolds movie "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings". Anybody out there know any details? Was there ever a magazine write up or feature? I have a copy of the movie, but that's as much "hard" info as I currently have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Maybe there should be a Google short cut on the CO home page.

This should be a fun project and we will be looking for pictures. Don't forget the horn that plays Dixie.

Ajski If you can find the Article W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings on Jalopy Journal's site a Member Called Lukey has three pictures listed that are the best I've seen. The Bumpers have been made into roll pans,a tube bar grill ,antenna moved to rear, spare tire/cover added, nerf bar bumpers made for both ends.Car is gold metal flake (top and rear with Black front).Interior in movie scene looked like Gold metal flake roll & pleat ran horizontal. It had a (Dixie Horn), and had Fog lights. Skirts and spare cover were painted black. Larry
