Hi Everybody. My name is Paul and I live in London, England.
I have a 68 Cutlass S Convertible that is currently having a lot of work on the engine, suspension, brakes interior etc.
The work is being done by another member of this forum, Chris289 from Back to life cars.
As soon as I can I will post some pics for everyone to see, or you can go on the Back to life cars website and have a look.
The car is nearly finished and I have to a certain extent, personalised it to suit my taste, which I know is not to everybodies liking but each to their own.
thanks for taking the time to read

Hi Chris
How's my car coming on. Did you have a test fire today?
Hope you realise that now loads more people will be looking at the rebuild you will have to update with more pics!! Like you haven't got enough to do, but at least it's a good advert for your skills.

Hi Paul, yes, lots more people getting drawn to the web-site which is great thanks!
No, no test fire yet, still a productive week, passenger door back on and clearing the electric aireil, adjusted the doors and lubricated the hinges, they now open and close with 1 finger. Floor pan all painted and carpets cleaned and back in, a pillar trims back in. Upper and lower dash assembly's repaired and re-fitted, all the gauges mounted and wired in, under dash speakers mounted, windscreen defroster vent pipe work fitted, centre consol stripped down, re-polished, cleaned, illumination for gear selector repaired and all re-built, wires ran to the centre consol and started doing the wiring for the radio equipment. Been a busy week! Dash looks absolutely fantastic! Didn't take any pictures if it yesterday as the car was full of tools and wires everywhere, will take some tomorrow after a quick tidy up.

It sounds like it's coming on really well. Guess you will be ready for the rest of the interior soon. Can't wait to see it all back together. Can't pop down next weekend but I can make the following week.

Yeah starting to come along now, looking really smart. Still need to do the roof motor and window regulators before the interior can go back in. The sun visors can go in though if you want to bring those when you do come down next.

My pleasure. Anywhere special, perhaps Buckingham Palace or Tower Bridge. It would be kind of fun to do a tour of the city and take loads of pictures. Let me know if you would like a Cutlass in front of somewhere you would like to see.
