speedometer problems

I need to remove the speedo from my 1968 Olds Cutlass Supreme. I know that there are two 1/4" nuts that have to come off and I can get at them, but my concern is the circuit board. Does it come out with the speedo or does it have to be removed, i.e. unplug? I don't want to risk damaging it. Can anyone help? I have the cable disconnected.

Thanks! Lambo

Welcome to CO. I want to move your thread to a more appropriate forum where you might get some more views but will instead say this. We have some regulars that read this forum and welcome new members but not nearly as many as our full membership. I encourage you to re-post this on the interior/trim forum or a similar one where you may get better luck.

Welcome to the site. Yes, the circuit board is part of the gauge pod. You'll need to remove the wire plug to take the pod out of the dash. John
