welcome wabasto, that's a good question but Ontario is a big province so where in southern Ontario are you?
I'm north of Toronto but south of Barrie.

I think there are more ONT and BC members in Canada than any other provinces. Welcome aboard Paul.

Alliston here... I wonder if there would be much interest in the Ontario members getting together to compare our rides and shoot some bull...

Just not in Toronto. Although it would probably be better to schedule a meet in spring next year at that point. I had to scrape frost off the windows this morning ... which probably means that those who are more protective of their $10k paintjobs have already put their babies into hiding.

Something to think about for next year, an Olds meet in Ontario at a location that is fairly central for all and not in the big city. When I originally suggested "Ontario members getting together" I did not intend to limit it to Ontario members, Olds folks south of the border should certainly attend as well if they want to make the drive ...

You know the best thing about meeting in Ottawa ... you don't have that sad moment when you leave.

No argument here...but since I'm currently stuck in Ottawa, I'd be up for it even if I have to show up in my *koffcorollakoff*.

Strippers

They start with ambition to make money but could often lead to poor decisions and broken dreams.

I got it from a movie, forget the name though.

I like the idea of having an Oldsmobile cruze-in somewhere in Ontario ,we should try and find a nice big park or parking lot ,somewhere with lots of space to park and food nearby (burgers of course!)A 1-2 hr drive would be ideal for most ppl i think. Here in London the Oldsmobile Nationals used to be at Fanshawe Park which is a conservation area with camping. But a similar venue somewhere else would be good too.Bingeman's park in Kitchener is big too.I used to live in Stratford which is a nice small town which has surprisingly a lot of Classic Car owners and a nice big park down by the Festival Theatre.Just some ideas thrown out there .

Maybe we can make a map with everyone's location and triangulate a fair destination.

Google maps for the win.

Ontario Cruz

I agree with Tony, need a "fair" destination for all.
Kingston sounds good to me.

Like I was saying in my other thread it's not going to be a 100% buy-in from everybody in
Ontario but there could be other Cruz-Ins at other times throughout the year ,but it has to be planned out ahead so it's favourable for those ppl that want to attend.I love Kingston it's a nice town, my wife went to Queen's so i know the town well.I'm sure you could get enough ppl to go but for me it wouldn't work as I work most weekends and I have to plan weekends off ,but it's the same for guys from the East coming West ,it would work out better for someone from that area to plan an event. For the record I'm not talking about a National Event here ,just a get together ,bench race ,shoot the shyte and go home ,if lots of guys show up ,great ,if not can't say i didn't try .Will see how it all pans out.

I think Kingston is pretty doable, probably around 3 hours from Montreal? I tend not to speed with the olds.

Hey Dick, i finally got around to pounding out that cut in the moldings and polishing them.

They look FANTASTIC

Thanks again!
