sixteen again!!!

sixteen again!!!

Just bought a 1972 cutty supreme which was my first car back when i was sixteen.It has been a twentythree year hiatus and it feels GREAT!!! The wife wasnt too happy but then again she will get over it!first question is are 403 heads the same as 350 heads for installing headers?

Good to hear you got another one.
The 403 is actually a small block, so there should be no differences for installing headers.

Welcome to CO and a big congrats on your new purchase. I am quite partial to the '72 Supremes myself. Does yours have 403 heads or do you have headers for a 403 that you are going to install on a 350? I don't guess it matters much, just wondering. Cheers and enjoy your new old flame!

It has 403 heads on it right now,my bro says to get rid of them and go with 72 or 73 350 heads because they have hardened valve guides. All greek to me,but willing to learn.Want to liven her up a bit so headers will be coming along w a cam and new heads maybe even a gear drive!!!
