Sam Hutton first post

Hello everyone! My name is Sam Hutton, and it's a pleasure to join you on ClassicOldsmobile.com!

About me... I was a union heavy equipment operator from 18-33, student from 33-35, and now I'm a physical therapist assistant.

My car... I have a 1979 Pontiac TA (I can almost feel the eggs being thrown. Lol!). I bought it when I was in high school; I'm happy to say I still have it! it has the Olds 403 with a turbo 350 with a 2500 stall, 3.90 out back, Demon 750 carb, Edelbrock 7111 intake, .484/.512 cam, and headers.

Where I'm at with the car... I think I'm to the rebuild point in life for my motor. I'm pulling coolant through the motor to the exhaust I hear that head gaskets like to fail on this motor, so I'm hoping it's that or a cracked head. I purchased a set of '72 7A heads from a recent member of ClassicOldsmobile.com about 2 years ago or so. I thought it would be a good time to change 'em.

My apologies for the long post!
