Reproduction bellhousing

Been shoppin around for parts to changeover a 1964 F85 from auto to stick . Think I have everything but bellhousing - car has a 70 350 Olds engine , crank is from a stick car . Will repro bell work and how is quality of it ? Don't want a scattershield .

Don't know about repro bellhousings, but used original BOP bellhousings are readily available on ebay and Craigslist in the $50-$100 range. Be aware that you need an Olds/Pontiac version with the starter notches on both sides. Also, watch out for the H-body bellhousings that are set up for the cable-actuated clutch.

X2 on what Joe said. i have one i can sell but i will have to look at it to be sure all the thread holes are good. if they are all good i can bead blast it clean if you want it. i would have to have $100 and shipping for it. you may want to post your location, someone closer to you than me may have one and save you some shipping.

welcome to CO. you can find most anything you need here, advice or parts.

Only found 1 bell on Craigs list - about 70 miles away , was bidding on 1 from a 69 GTO with covers & TO bearing arm on Ebay - sold yesterday 177.50 . Got tired of shoppin so ordered a repro from the parts place . Hopin the quality is good cuz some of the repop stuff out there is sub-standard .
