Proper intro

Just thought I would properly introduce myself. I have a 1967 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I have had it for about 12 years. I recently retired from the Navy and my sons are getting old enough to help out so I am looking forward to getting more work done on my Olds.

I have added a couple of photos. One shows my doing some re-assembly after helping replace hydraulic cylinders.

tkheld,
Car looks nice and a welcome from me to the forum. I've only been on this forum a short time but I've found help when I asked for it and have accumulated a handful of parts from other members by responding to their posts or by just posting in the "parts wanted" threads. Its been good and I think you'll like the participants. - Steven

Welcome, looks like a nice solid car. Your kids look to be the perfect age to get them interested.

First of all-Thanks for your service

The car looks great. The fact that your kids can help with it is fantastic. If they are all in, it will be a memory they can cherish . This forum has many people with a wealth of info willing to help because that is who they are. Thanks for joining. Don't forget to share pics. We live for it.

Thanks everyone. My middle son is my gearhead. He is 14 and built his own go-kart. Keeps breaking it and fixing it. He pesters me every day because he wants the Olds to "peel out". The 2BBL is shot and he wants to swap the intake and install a 4BBL. So I will be spending a lot of time on this site trying to learn as much as I can.

Its great that your kid is a car guy so early. G0-karts is where I started 60 or so years ago. Used to borrow my dads lawnmower engine
