Parts for 61-63 F85

Hey people,

my name is Helge and I'm from Germany.
About 3 months ago, I bought a F85 Cutlass from 1962.

I must change some things of the front axle and from the brakes.
Now I want to know, which parts of other cars are fitting in my F85.
(for example, the engine was built many years in Rover)

Because in Germany, it's very hard to get parts for this year built. Only
parts for the years after '65 are getting very easily.

I hope you can help me a little bit.
I'm sorry for my bad english.

greets, Helge

Welcome. Unfortunately, it's difficult to get parts for these years here in the US. The 61-63 cars are not as popular as the 1964-72 cars, so few vendors reproduce parts. If you are looking for stock replacement parts for the suspension and brakes, Kanter is your best choice.

hey dudes,

thank you for your replys.
I know Kanter, but the shipping costs for germany are very expensive.

If there are no parts which are fitting, I must order it from Kantar.

Maybe, there is someone which knows something....

Individual suspension and brake parts (ball joints, tie rods, wheel cylinders) show up on ebay, but you'll have to get what you need part-by-part. Also be aware that the ball joints could have been either screw-in or press-in style. Be sure you know which you have before getting new ones.
