i have a 64 cutlass with a 330 45 degree bank, i'm looking for a 4 barrel aluminum intake & possibly a camshaft to match. Does anyone know where to get these in this day & age? I had a 64 442 once all this stuff was easy to get then but can't seem to find now.

Has anyone ever bothered to look at the size of the runners on the RPM? They're not very large.
The main difference in the 2 is plenum size.
If you have a decent gear and 9.0:1 or better I'd use the RPM with a 600 or so.
If you need a cam let me know, I offer 45 degree flat tappet cams.

I don't know off hand, but you are at the right website to find the answer.

Brad, I saw your other post. I'll move these recent comments to it. P.S. Brad was asking about cam shafts on the other thread. I figure you guys could give him some direction there.

Brad, welcome to the site! I'm pretty sure the 330-350 intakes will fit the 1964 330 engine. I don't think the 45 degree angle affects the intake. But your right that the cam will be different than the newer more common bank angle.

There is no difference in the intake between the 39 and 45 engine. The cam bank angle only effect the lifters riding on the cam.
Any small block Olds intake will fit the '64 330 engine.

CutlassEFI can set you up with a cam.

To try and clarify what others have said, the 330 is externally identical to all other small block Olds motors. Any intake that fits a 350 Olds will bolt to your 330. Be aware that the 64 motor does have a couple of unique features, however. Due to the one-year-only water pump design (inlet is on the driver's side), the timing tab is on the passenger side. The balancer scribe mark is in a different location because of this. And 1964 330 accessory brackets are one-year-only also.

As you correctly point out, the 45 deg cam is different from the more common 39 deg cams, but any cam vendor can grind an Olds cam for a 45 deg bank angle block. Cutlassefi can certainly set you up with a good one.
