Wow! Nice looking car and an interesting color combination. You'll have to explain - what does "Out of the Furnace" mean? There are lots of '68 people here and this is the best forum around for asking questions and getting professional answers from people who know their Oldsmobiles inside and out!

Ah! Ironically, I just watched the movie "Out of the Furnace" on Netflix! That car caught my eye in the movie, and I had to grit my teeth a little when the actor was revving the engine, lol! Nice car!

My 1971 Cutlass was in the running for the movie, until they decided that Matador Red doesn't film well. (They said that red and white cars usually don't film well. So what about Starsky and Hutch -- the Torino was red AND white...and BJ and The Bear -- the KW was red AND white..?)

I love this site-I love Odlsmobiles and I love and know them more than you think-but its hard to download pics and very hard to share stuff.Im not a complainer-I wanna show you people more than I have to offer. As much as I love F 85s All the cutlasses 442s and hurst olds its the special toronadas that blow me away.I got a 71 cutlass s with a 70 toro motor in it that I love.Im gonna post more pics of all the olds that I have or had if this format will allow me.Any suggestions are welcome.PS-when I was a kid our local dealership-Mace Motors-made their own neon sign and it was the best ever.As soon as I get an image I will share it
