Olds on ebay

Hello i'm looking at a car on ebay; it is a 1959 oldsmobile convertible and on the model identification plate; there's a number stamped out on it. Any guesses on what that's about? Thanks

These numbers have been seen on other cars too, but I've never seen one punched right out like that. No idea what it means but I seriously doubt it has any significant meaning.
