Old Car Guy
My appreciation for cars began when I was 4 or 5 (in the mid 50's) and was riding in the back of my grandfathers's 1953 Olds 98. Smooth, effortless power that even as a 5 year old, I could distinguish from my dads Chevy or Ford. Through the years I have bought a number of old cars, but I never went looking for them. They presented themselves and I bought them.
They have included a 62 Grand Prix, a 70 Bonneville Convertible, a 69 Corvette Convertible, a 64 Thunderbird Convertible, a 69 Grand Prix and a 72 Chevy Cheyenne Pickup Truck. When my wife called to tell me there was a triple white convertible on the side of the road with a for sale sign on it, and maybe I should go look at it, I wasted no time. Turns out it was a 72 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible in pretty nice driver condition. Before too long, we owned it.
The Olds had an original white interior that needed replacing. It needed a lot of little mechanical things, like replacing the loose balancer that was wobbling on the crank, a q-jet that was in desperate need of a rebuild, a new distributor, brake work including a new booster and some A/C work. The new Legendary interior has made it more comfortable to ride in and is beautiful to look at.
Now, the car looks good, drives good and is reliable and can be driven anywhere. I like my first Olds!

I have tried several times to attach some pictures, but I keep getting an error message that I need a security token. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I went to Go Advanced, broused for the pictures, then hit upload, but I get the token error each time.
The triple white is what caught my attention. I live in south Florida, and believe me, dark colored interiors are HOT! Lighter colors are much cooler top down or up with the A/C on.

Attached are a couple pictures of my 72. I have tried to keep it pretty much original or restored like original.
