Not totally new but new here...

Well I have read a lot of posts here and finally decided to join after a couple years. I have a 69 HO that is near road ready, not doing a restoration but more of a preservation. I have been working on it for a couple years getting all the correct parts back on and the major mechanicals rebuilt. I also have a 69 vert that is in process of a frame off.

Very Cool! Good luck with your projects. And since no one else has said it yet; "Share some pics!" We love the photo documentation that goes along with these projects. I think it gives us a chance to participate remotely.

130 miles on the 69 HO today, no issues ran great. Took all 3 kids and the wife, loaded up and off we went.

It was an awesome day. I took the day off, finished up working on the few things to get it on the road for the first time. We picked up the 2 oldest kids at school, they were both shocked to see us because they have always just seen it in the garage. Xander, the youngest is in love with cars. If I'm doing anything with the car he has to be in it and if he sees me getting in the truck he has to go along. If it has wheels he wants it.
They had a good time a couple years in the making. Autumn has spent many days and evenings helping...mostly asking questions bit she likes to know how everything works and Taylor has been more interested since he is getting his license in 2 years. Mandy liked the cruising and to finally be able to ride in one of my cars instead of just losing me to work on them.
