So happy I found this site. I have 2 77 cutlasses, a 77 442 and a 77 cutlass supreme brougham. I originally bought the supreme as a project but when i finally got keys cut and opened the trunk all i saw was the driveway and back tires. I got discouraged and got a tip about a 442 in the middle of a christmas tree field. id have to start a whole different post to tell that story. but after quite the search i got the car and fell in love with it. its a 77 but it has on half of a 76 grille, 76 dash, and swivels. I desperately need a set of 77 grilles if anyone has a set 🙏🏽

my two 77s

how i found it

courtesy trim for the tow truck driver lol

delivery

swivels and 76 dash

the back seat only has a small rip on the top

Welcome to the site and thanks for the pictures. I am old. But I am loving the 73-77 cars more and more. Keep us updated on your progress etc.

Brings back memories. Had a ‘76 black w/ maroon swivel bucket interior, roll top console, killer (for the time) Alpine ~10 component stereo system, Michelin radials. Drove great, despite not having the ooomph of my earlier cars.

I know how you feel! I had a 76 442 with the same kind of rust problems, so I had to let it go. Luckily I found a 76 Cutlass S in good shape, I just have to save up for a 350 to replace the little 260 in it eventually!
