Newbie from the UK

Hi All,

Quick post to say hello and give some background info..

A very good family friend of ours has recently purchased a 1937/8 Oldsmobile Tourer that he is currenlty doing a full restoration on. As he doesn't use a pc I said I would do some searching for him, we are trying to find any info from where the car was manufacuterd to specifaction, owners, just about any infomation that might help trace the cars History from production to it's life in the UK.

I guess I need to start a new post with more detials in another section with reg number, chassis and engine numbers just in case someone might have and details, no matter how small.

Hope to hear from you soon.
All the best
Paul

Very nice of you Paul to join this site for your friend. When you get some pics post them so we can see the project. Welcome.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the welcome :-) looks like your not to far away from us, in fact I'm working in Guildford today, but live in Hampshire.

Yea, Dave's car is "pretty old" excuse the pun! I'm slowly learning a few things, just a case of not giving up, would be great to find some info about its past life.

All the best
PG
