Hello, name is Rich. Love Oldsmobiles as I've owned many in the past, 63 years old and looking for a 1949-1953 2 door coupe to build a daily cruiser. thanks

Rich, Welcome to C.O.
Good luck with your search - check the local and long distance CL. Most of the time I see cars on there they are already fixed up though.

thanks to all of you that have welcomed me aboard! As I stated earl on my love is a 1949-50 Olds 2 door slopeback or sedan. I built a 1948 Plymouth streetrod and it's a blast to drive but I'd give it up in a heartbeat if I found the right Olds. Thanks again for the welcome.

Check out this link. You'll find a couple nice ones and a vert but he's proud of all of them.
http://www.memorylaneclassiccars.com/thumbs.html I was there yesterday. There's also a nice 64 Jetstar 88 convertible some of you other guys might like for $17,500. It's not perfect but very nice.
