A newbie with a sweet car

hey guys like the title says....

I am 26 years olds and and currently stationed in Texas and I have been looking for a 1969 442 for years now and low and behold i not only found what i was looking for but even better. i found myself the greatest muscle car of all time...
1969 hurst/olds, sure the engine doesnt match but it still has an olds 455 in it with the engine built to the original specs as far as cammed up and such. needs some body work also but TOTALLY worth it. So joining these forums to get some help on it and some other tips and tricks in the mean time. Look forward to this project and hope it goes well.

here is the link to where my photos are seeming people prolly wanna see them.

I looked at that car last year Conner Roe was the seller correct ? seemed like a nice guy.
Its always good to see a car get a new loyal owner. Let the H/O's roll.

cool power antenna. I think he redid the motor since I looked at it. You will have to keep me informed if you or what you have to do to get the ram air pan to work with the performer intake

@ firefrost: yep thats the car, picked it up about 2 months ago. VERY nice guy and he actually worked with me so i could get the car due how enthused i am about it. and it does have the power antenna but it doesnt work

LOVE THE CAR but needs some TLC and i am the guy for the job on this car lol.

@jamesbo: how is the fiberglass one compared to the actual metal? i search craigslist randomly for them to see if i can find one. but if the fiberglass is just as good then i see no harm in getting that one.

The link with the photos look very nice for the glass top the price is much better than the steal one on ebay for 1200 for just the top no base or lid or foam.

Nice ride, looks a lot like that gold and white car Jamesbo has.

I would do a comeback and say to give a haircut to some rare and desirable Australian car but I searched for hours online and there don't seem to be any??
