Thumbs up Newbie from Punta Gorda Florida

Hello All,
Happy to part of this site! Great information sharing and all Classic Old's fans! Retired in September. Bought my 79 Cutlass in March as a "graduation present" for myself... Got her in the restoration shop for for new paint and a few upgrades. Can't wait to get her home!

Cool. I live in Deep Creek. Let's grab a cup of coffee or a beer when you get here!

Welcome and nice car! I noticed your car was offered by a seller in Fenton, MO, which is only about 25 minutes from me. I live in Pevely, MO south of Arnold. I was wondering if you're a Missourian with a winter place in Florida? In any case, enjoy your new Olds!

Very nice, sits great ! Looks like all new suspension.

I know the model. Had two in the family over the years. Both the 260 and the 231, great car, so so transmission...

Welcome aboard and best of luck with it.

I like the antenna for the 2-way communication device. I had an '80 Grand Prix, new in the box, and mounted mine the same. I can't remember the name of the antenna but, it was removable so the crooks wouldn't get it. The problem was, if you forgot to remove it...the crooks would do it for you.

Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

We moved to Florida 23 years ago from Kalamazoo. Bought the car on line and had her shipped to me sight unseen...I was nervous but I wasn't disappointed.

I grew up in Battle Creek and moved to St. Louis 37-years ago. Funny thing is I bought my Olds from a private seller in Warren, MI over by Detroit. I went up there to inspect it and then had it transported home. Glad you weren't disappointed, and again,, welcome!
