newbie in oldstown

Hi, im chris, 35 years old and new to this oldsmobile stuff.
I own a 1961 F85 and have a lot of questions to you guys
Thereīs also a 1974 dodge dart sport in my garage, but heīs already done, and so I needed something new to spend my money on.
Didnīt knew that the 61/62 is so rare when I bought it, but itīs kind of fun too, looking the whole night on ebay for spare parts.
so everybody have a good time,
cheers chris

looking good so far. More pic's

What do you plan to do with the car ? A drivers or something different ?

If it is an automatic, it will test your skills to get it to shift good. If it is a stick shift, that is the best way to use the power of that little engine.

I'm converting mine to a 5 speed
Whats your location ??

Gene

Hi there,
its an automatic. Iīm curious about it. Havenīt had the chance to drive it yet. Just let the engine run and shifted a little bit.
A driver! Thats what they are made for. Maybe a little bit customized...missing some chrome, and the chrome I have is not in the best condition.
Location is Germany, what really does not help finding spare parts and stuff. Thereīs no Olds-community/association here. Not even a forum.
Found ClassicOldsmobile.com ....and I like it
Very nice pictures Gene, looks really well done!
I can post some more pictures next days, but they will show something different...how worse it can be
