I wanted to start out by introducing myself! My name is Brad all my friends call me Slim. Im 29 years old and from youngstown, ohio. Im the owner of a 69 olds 98 4dr. has brand new crate 455 brand new trans. All handles and locks shaved. trunk is shaved. Its been painted 2 tone blue. I joined here to meet some people, find some parts i need to finish my car. I do work as a service writer for a chrysler dealer (sorry) and am very knowledgable about vehicles. Parts im looking for now are chrome trim for vinyl top. windshield and rear window chrome and fender skirts. Thanks!

Thank you! i posted few pics of how it looked when i finally pulled it out of the garage covered in dust. ill try to get some more up. Only about 6 years worth of dust. haha hopefully by june ill post pics of it all done!

I'm a little confused by this phrase:
I didn't think you could get 455 engines new nowadays. I thought the last ones were made in the mid or late 1970s.

Do you mean that was new back in the day when it was installed or that an NOS crate engine was found recently by you or a prior owner and installed in the car?
