Newbie from Milwaukee

I just joined the forum. I have a 1956 Olds Super 88 Holiday 2 door hardtop. The car runs and drives well. I need to replace the brakes and from suspension parts for wear but nothing major. The car is still all original paint and all. I need to have it repainted but I am trying to decide how far to go in the process. I think it would be a shame to do a complete restoration since the car is complete and in good condition.

I have already sent out all of the door panels to be redone and will be getting the seats done next. I do need to find a Super 88 interior door emblem. If someone has one or knows where I can get one let me know.

Welcome to CO

Lots of 56 owners on the site who are willing to offer tips and information. Looks like a solid car. I would do a complete repaint as the original paint will be hard to match in all of the ares that need attention. Just my two cents.

Looks like you have a solid car that does not need a lot of work.

I just finished painting my kitchen...I will bring the rollers, brushes and paint.

Oh, you wanted it done the right way? You will have a nice long Winter to get the body work done.
