Newbie looking for advice please!!

Hi my names Matt and i'm the proud owner of a 1985 delta 88 royale brougham. i need some advice though as i just came across a 66' toronado for $1500. I'm wondering if i need to buy this ASAP as a project or let it go and focus on my delta?

What kind of shape is it in?

How much space have you got?

How are you fixed for cash?

What does the "other half" have to say about it?

the most i know right now is that the body and glass is good but no pics yet. i just found the ad today online and im stationed in japan waiting for a reply from the owner, but there was a promising note saying "someone elses memories" so i'm assuming someone passed away and the current owner dosnt want it anymore.

on a good note no other to worry about and cash wont be a problem if its a good deal

The general rule of thumb in the auto hobby is that you continue to buy cars until you run out of money or space, or until the divorce threats become impossible to ignore.

Unfortunately even when you are outta space you still buy LOL.

Good luck on the purchase, i love my buddies 67 toronado. he uses it as a DD and everything

If it it is a good deal, buy it. Life gets in the way soon enough. My other half likes cars too, but other things always happened and 20yrs went by in a blink of an eye.... I will say that the chuckle I let out every time the 70 Cutlass I just bought chirps 2nd gear is great feeling!
