Newbie From Israel

Hello All,

I am new to this forum, but not to classic cars.

I have a 1954 88 Holiday Olds.

Lately, I noticed that the hood of my car is not level with the wing - the right side is about half an inch higher (in the area of the hinges) ... Can anyone assist me with how to level the hood?

Thank you in advance...

Welcome to the site, post some pictures when you get a chancel. Have you lubricated the hinges?

Thank you for your quick answer, but that is not the solution I was looking for..

In any case, added an album with some pictures of my olds. Have fun

I had to ask, sometimes the simplest solution are the most viable. Generally when the hood starts sticking up in the back is because the hinge pivot points are dry and biding, or they are worn, or out of adjustment.

Perhaps the hinge bolts are loose?

Sweet 54

I don't have a recommendation other than what has already been mentioned (check twice for a bent hinge)
