Newbie from Huskerville

New to the board and have been finding a lot of useful info here. We (my dad, brother, and myself) are going to be working on a '69 Cutlass S. Long story short, my dad had a '69 H/O and for some reason sold it in the late 70's. Our goal is to enjoy the Cutlass we're going to buy this summer and during the winter do the tinkering that needs to be done. The car is in transit, so I'll try and post pics in the next week or so. I look forward to sharing our journey and asking alot of questions to you experts!!!

Welcome from a fellow Huskerlander. Look forward to the pics. Not an expert, just love the ride.

I said I'd post some pictures of the car we bought, so here are a few.

Good luck with the project.

Looks nice as-is. My '69 started life in Nebraska as a sable brown car but got painted red in the early 80's. Imagine that...

Thanks guys. From what we can tell, there isn't any filler on it. It's only issue that we've found is some worn out front seats and a dent in the hood/cracked grill. We're going to keep it as is for the summer to avoid locking it up a shop. Any tinkering/modifications will be done during the winters over a few years time period.

Well, an eventful weekend led to us in a disagreement with the dealership selling this car. Fortunately we were able to get our money back and walk away. They grossly misrepresented the condition of the car (rust and bad bondo work), no disc brake conversion, main seal leak, etc. Now we're back on the search for a '69 Cutlass or 442.
