Newbie here, but not to Olds

Hi there, I just wanted to say hello to all the Olds enthusiasts on here and introduce myself. My name is Philip and I started out driving an Olds as my first car, a '68 Delta 88 4-door to be exact. Dad bought it new, it was passed around the family, and eventually sold. That car was a major source of fun in high school, and my brother had a '68 Delta Custom 2 -door that we redid in the early '80's. Both cars were sold in the '80's, and I moved on to a '68 GTO, a string of 5.0 Mustangs, a '69 Hurst/Olds, a CJ7 Jeep, 2 LS1 Z28's, a '70 C/10 Chevy pickup(currently own it), and finally I went full circle and purchased another '68 B-body Olds. After 20 plus years without a B body Olds in the family, I said it was the right time for another. So, I pulled the motor and trans from my '02 Z28, sold the roller, and purchased a '68 Delmont Convertible. This was the one bodystyle I had always lusted after, so I went ahead and made the plunge on a rust -free Arizona car that needs cosmetics. It is 455 powered, factory a/c, power windows, bench seat, top, and antenna. It is gonna be a sweet ride and I cannot wait to get started on it! The car should be here in a couple of weeks, so I will post pics when I get it. Believe it or not, I actually found and purchased my brother's old 2 door Custom for parts. It is wasted from sitting outside too many years, but it has some decent B-body stuff on it. But------- I am just really glad in general to be back into my first automotive love, Oldsmobile! lol

Thanks a bunch, everyone! 455 rkt, you're car is very similar to what I am shooting for in my build. Love the color! I'm gonna post up some of my "back in the day" pics I have here shortly.

Finally got my 68 Delmont Convertible in today! I am really excited! I will post up pics when the rain stops here, maybe by the weekend. It's a beater cosmetically, but it is an Arizona car!
