Newbie Greetings-'65 Delta88 Question

Hi everyone! This is my first post as a new member and I'm glad to have this resource available for help and guidance.

I'd like to find a nice '65 Delta 88 to purchase but I'm not sure what would be a reasonable price to pay. I'm looking for an all original car with fairly low original mileage (under 100,000 miles) with nice interior and paint that's not too faded/deteriorated and no rust or collision damage repair. Essentially a well-maintained original vehicle completely operable and capable of being driven cross country if necessary in good overall condition and not in need of reconditioning or restoring (I've got enough project cars already).

If a '65 Delta 88 exists matching this description, would a price range of $10,000.00 - $11,000.00 be too much to pay?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the site. Are you looking for a 2 dr or 4 dr? Where do you live?

Howbout this:

Not my car, in fact I never heard of it, but I do live in NJ and could possibly take a look at it on your behalf in you were seriously interested. PM me if you want to discuss.

Interestingly, the seller has stated explicitly that the car can be driven cross-country. It also has less than 100K miles, and is said to be all original.

I'm looking for a two door & this one on ebay looks nice... Is $10,500.00 a fair price for a car in this nice condition?

Thanks again!

It does sound a bit high, but if it truly is in excellent mechanical cosmetic and mechanical condition and is exactly what you are looking for, only you can say whether the price is right (or not).

I missed this one. By the time I was able to contact the owner he had already sold it.

Thanks for the offer to check it out for me!
